The Deco BE22 offers speeds of up to 2882Mbps on the 5GHz band and up to 688Mbps on the 2.4GHz band. Multi-Link Operation and 4K-QAM Technology
Multi-Link Operation enables compatible WiFi 7 devices to use available wireless connections more efficiently, helping improve overall speed, stability and latency. This technology is particularly valuable for real-time applications such as competitive gaming, cloud services, live streaming and high-quality video calls. The Deco BE22 also incorporates 4K-QAM to carry more data within each wireless transmission, improving network efficiency compared with previous WiFi generations. Expanded Dual-Unit Mesh Coverage
The two Deco BE22 units combine to provide wireless coverage of up to approximately 2,600 square feet under suitable operating conditions. Each unit contains four high-performance internal antennas designed to distribute strong signals across different rooms. The Deco Mesh system creates one unified wireless network, removing the need to connect manually to different router names. Users can place the two units in separate locations to reduce dead zones and improve signal availability. Additional compatible Deco units can also be added later if the home or workplace requires even wider coverage.
Seamless AI-Driven Roaming
Built-in AI-driven roaming technology studies the network environment and helps connected devices select the most suitable Deco unit and wireless path. As users move from one room to another, their smartphones, tablets or laptops can automatically connect to the stronger mesh signal without requiring manual network switching. Intelligent traffic management helps distribute network resources efficiently when many devices are active at the same time. Each Deco unit includes two Gigabit Ethernet ports with WAN/LAN auto-sensing, allowing either port to be used for the internet connection or a wired device. TP-Link HomeShield provides useful network security, parental control and management features to help protect connected devices. The Deco BE22 supports WPA, WPA2 and WPA3 Personal encryption for secure wireless connectivity. Installation and management are handled through the TP-Link Deco mobile application, which provides guided setup and remote network control. The system is backward compatible with earlier WiFi generations and works with most internet service providers when connected to a compatible modem or ONT.
